Hearts and Photos

Valentine's Day is around the corner, and so I thought I'd experiment with some heart patterns. This yarn I'm using is, like, a thickness of 7, it's sooo thick. And I love it. <3 Anyway, since you probably won't find a pattern for a heart this thick, I made up my own based on the idea I'd seen before, and here's how it turned out.

 The top hasn't been sewn shut yet (you make two half circles and crochet them together, leaving a gap), as you can see below. I may fill it with candy instead of stuffing when I give it to a special someone (some of my girlfriends, mind you)
I also have a kind of kelly green color, which I will be making half of them with. (I don't know the brand or anything; my grandma just happened to have them. Sorry... Wish I knew too).

Also, I rediscovered a prism I had from a pair of binoculars, and I started experimenting.
My results::

Slightly picniked

And, meet my photo test subject and cuddly friend, Mortecai!!

And edited :)
(Rest assured, Mortecai is male)
And then I prismated him::
Finally, a picture I took a while back, that I feel like sharing. And a late New Year's wish.
Because I can.
Icicle Sunset
 Yeah yeah it's sorta long. But that's what happens when the author procrastinates.
I'll try to post weekly.
No promises.
But I'll try.
